EXPERT ELECTRONICS SUNSDR2 PRO SDR TRANSCEIVER

The Expert Electronics' SunSDR2 PRO SDR transceiver was designed for advanced operation on HF and VHF bands, even the most demanding operator will be surprised by its capabilities. Modern hardware along with the Expert Electronics' ExpertSDR2 software makes this high-performance SDR transceiver the perfect base station and at the same time perfectly suitable for field operations.

Expert Electronics SunSDR2 PRO SDR transceiver main capabilities:

• Independent RX path based on DDC (Direct Down-Conversion) architecture
• Independent TX path based on DUC (Direct Up-Conversion) architecture
• 2 software RXs + SubRX for each of them (4 slices total) + independent wideband Bandscope up to 80 MHz
• Remote control operation, using it, you connect PTT and CW-key to the E-Coder panel. Microphone and E-Coder are connected to the remotely set up PC
• TCI interface for seamless connection with third-party software like SDC (with its own Skimmer), LogHX, SWISSLOG and RUMlog, more are coming
• Professional TX processing module provides the most advanced tuning capability for voice operation
• ExtCTRL connector to control external devices with 8 powerful keys with open collector

• Supports use of VHF transverters**

You must enable the program on windows10 firewall, otherwise it will disable the communication. After every firmware upgrade, you should do it.

Expert Electronics SunSDR2 PRO SDR transceiver box contains:

• SunSDR2 PRO Transceiver
•  LAN-cable 1.8m for connecting to local network
• Power cable 2.0m for connecting to power supply
• Two 6.3mm phono male to 3.5mm phono female adapters to connect a headset to the radio
• Mini UHF (male) to SO239 (UHF/PL female) pigtail adapter with 30 cm  RG58 coax.

Does it contain adapters for the mini-UHF to PL259/BNC?

Box contains one pigtail cable (cca 30 cm) that converts MiniUHF to SO239. If you want to use more than one antenna port, you may need to custom-make further similar pigtail cables or patch cables with MiniUHF on the radio end yourself. MiniUHF connectors, H155 coaxial cable and crimping tool are available from the Anico hamshop (check optional products). MiniUHF-SO232 adapters without pigtail cable are also available, however these adapters need to be used with special care (for explanation see video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w45ICmsCHU&t=493s )
